I started to work on several tutorials for Node.js. It's the perfect fit for frontend developers who want to dip their toes into backend JavaScript. The series starts off by setting up a Node.js application with Express.js which teaches the basics about environment variables, middleware, and routes.
The next tutorial, which hasn't been officially released yet, so you are the first to see it, takes you on a journey on how to implement a REST API with Express.js. Both tutorials are the groundwork for a server-side application that will use a database and a client-side application in upcoming tutorials.
