React in 2018. What's next for 2019?
Comprehensive React + Redux Tutorial
If you hadn't had the chance to learn Redux yet, this tutorial is for you to learn React + Redux still in 2018. Maybe the holiday season is the best time to dive into it. It teaches you the fundamentals of Redux and how to connect Redux to your React application. At the end of the tutorial, you will have a great foundational starter project to advance the application yourself. Let me know whether you made it through the tutorial this year :-)
Extensive ReasonReact Tutorial
Did you have the chance to dip your toes into ReasonML by Facebook? Me neither! That's why I wanted to publish this ReasonReact beginners tutorial. It feels very similar to writing React components with JavaScript, but you get all the benefits from having a typed language with ReasonML. Check it out and let me know what you think about it.
What's up in 2019?
The last 2 years have been quite a ride for me. Thank you for all of your support! Only with your help it was possible for me to work full-time on all this educational content. Thank you! :-)
You have always shaped the content I wrote about JavaScript/React, so I would like to hear your opinion on what you want to learn in 2019. Let me know whether you are interested in Gatsby.js, Full-Stack React with MERN or any other topic.
I would also like to hear whether you have started a Blog or YouTube Channel yourself in 2018. Let me know about it, I am keen to see what you are working on :-)
React, Redux and GraphQL ...
I didn't participate in any of the Black Friday events, because I simply forget about them every year as they are not such a big deal in Germany and generally I try to avoid sending too many notifications. However, I thought it may be nice to have all my courses 25% off for the holiday season. So if you haven't had the chance to learn React, Redux or GraphQL, then grab a book or course now.
See you back in 2019.
Cheers, Robin
PS.: If you have learned React, Redux or GraphQL in 2018 from one of my books, it would mean the world to me, if you could leave a nice review on Amazon. Your feedback is the fuel for new exciting content for the next year.
Book Recommendation
If you are looking for a book for the end of the year, checkout the books by Yuval Noah Harari called Sapiens and 21 Lessons for the 21st Century to learn more about humankind's past and present. I enjoyed them as audiobooks and they are my favorites from this year.
